    Formal Wear - Daywear - Example: Kilt Jacket (No tails, less silver, no sash), Oxford shirt, black tie, leather/hair sporran, leather strap, day skean dhu (Staghorn), white hose, balmoral hat. Black or green black ghillies (shoes) in summer time, vest over shirt, no jacket.
    Formal Wear - Evening - Example: Prince Charlie Jacket (tails, lots of silver), tuxedo shirt, bow tie, silver and fur sporran, glengarry hat, chain strap dirk (sword).
    Celtic Casual Wear - Example: jacobite (peasant) shirt, vest or not, balmoral hat. Blue or green day sporran (black plain) white or tan hose ghillies or sandles (no hose).
    Military/Police/Fireman Dress - Example: uniform shirt, epaulet, shoulder boards, shirt - white or khaki, black tie or dickie, black or gold military long horse hair sporran, argyle hose, white spats, black dress shoes, hats - pith helmet, glengarry or balmoral hat or officer's cap. Outfit adjusted for military, police, fire department functions as well as colors of kilt. Dirk (short sword) and matching skean dhu (knife), piper's plaid (sash).
