Michael E. Hyde  Bagpiper for All Occasions

The primary instrument I play is the Great Highland Bagpipe (the one most people are familiar with).  It is very powerful and it is meant to be played outdoors or in large buildings.

I also play my Irish Shuttle Pipe, which is relatively quiet with a very nice
warm sound.  It is great for smaller churches, chapels or living rooms for private parties.  I often play both pipes during the course of the same event.

The elements of each service are customized to meet the needs of the
client and the venue.  Tunes played at formal
events are classic and
liturgically correct.  Tunes played at parties, parades and special events are festive and uplifting.

Events include:

Funerals and Memorial Services – Internment at Cemetery

Weddings – Wedding Receptions

Parties - (Birthday, Cocktail, Retirement, etc.)

Special Church Events (i.e., Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan,
Sunrise Easter Service)
